Overview of Training Courses

We have packed numerous important simulation options that are available at Simcenter into training courses. When it comes to the scope, we have mostly based ourselves on the respective license packages. Choosing the right training course is certainly not easy for you. So, just give us a call to discuss which training is right for you. The following is a structured list of the training courses we offer. If you select a link, the detailed description appears.

After selecting a link, the detailed training description follows below

5.1 FEM Component Analysis with Wizard

Duration

1 day

Description

The program module "Strength-Wizard" allows the mechanical analysis of individual components with regard to their static behavior under load.
The deformations and qualitative stresses that occur when the part is loaded at rest are determined. The "Strength Wizard" guides the user through the process so that input errors are almost impossible. The tasks of preprocessing, solving and postprocessing are automatically queried one after the other, which means that the user only needs relatively little background knowledge regarding the classic FEM. The training can therefore be kept very short. The seminar conveys the skills to use the "Strength Wizard" and to evaluate the results.

Prerequisites

- Experience in dealing with NX
- Fundamentals of technical mechanics

Content

- Basics and limits of linear FEM
- Geometry preparation
- Material properties and libraries in NX
- load definitions
- Clamping situations and boundary conditions
- Solven and computer configuration
- Presentation of results and evaluation
- Creation and configuration of reports
