Description
This advanced seminar deals with applications of high-frequency analyzes with the solver MAGNETICS.
For this purpose, solutions are available in the time and frequency domain, in which the "full-wave" formulation is used, i.e. the complete solution of Maxwell's equations with coupling of the magnetic and electric fields and the displacement currents.
Areas of application are the determination of the characteristics of antennas and waveguides, as well as investigations of “electromagnetic compatibility” (EMC, EMC) and “interference” (EMI). This also includes the 'Electrical Fast Transient' test (EFT) and the 'Electro-Static Discharge' (ESD) test.
