In order to detect and correct errors and weak points at an early stage in the development of new products and thus save time and money, simulation has become indispensable. We help you to take a look into the future of your products.
The calculation engineers at "Dr. Binde Ingenieure GmbH" support you as an experienced simulation service provider in the design and validation of components and entire systems. We calculate and optimize for you, among other things, linear and non-linear structural analyzes, buckling and buckling analyzes, dynamic analyzes, laminates, MKS multi-body simulations, electromagnetic simulations, thermal analyzes, flow simulations or coupled / multi-physics analyzes. We attach great importance to close cooperation with the designer in the definition of load assumptions and boundary conditions, result interpretation, discussion and documentation.
Engineering projects that we carry out are e.g .:
Optimization of Camshaft Adjusters with CAD-integrated 3D Electromagnetic Field Simulation
Using the example of a typical automotive application, it is shown how CAD-integrated 3D electromagnetic field simulation can be used and that this leads to high efficiency. Specifically, this takes place on the basis of a real application from the pre-research research at Daimler AG. The NX Magnetics solver is operated using the NX CAD system. An example of a camshaft control actuator is shown, which is dynamically controlled by electromagnets and air-core coils. In addition to the electromagnetic fields, the results are mechanical quantities such as force, acceleration, speed and distance. Rapid changes to the CAD geometry and updates of the results allow efficient development progress.
Dynamic design of machine tools with the help of NX CAE and Matlab / Simulink
An important quality criterion for machines (machine tools, production machines, handling devices) is their dynamic behavior. Related weaknesses express themselves e.g. in overshoot behavior, contour errors, chatter marks or in too low productivity, since accelerations have to be reduced. The dynamic behavior of machines can be improved by combining cleverly designed mechanics with a suitable drive train and the set control. Such designs and corresponding simulations are extremely complex.
Automated Arc Fault Simulation and Documentation with ESC and NX Open
An accidental arc is the undesired jump of the current from one current-carrying component to a second, usually also current-carrying component, which occurs in the event of a short circuit in a switchgear. In this incident, very large amounts of energy are converted, which creates considerable dangers for people and the environment! Plant rooms and plants themselves must be secured or checked prior to use.
Approach: Numerical, coupled flow and thermal simulation in a three-dimensional system room with time-dependent loads.
Numerical flow calculations with NX - challenges and solutions in flow and flow processes
In the publication different examples of performed CFD simulations are presented.
